*Pastoral Council, Finance Committee and the Commissions meet the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm from September through June. Location alternates between St. Boniface and St. James - call for information.
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council acts in an advisory capacity to the pastor and parish staff in matters that affect the entire parish. Pastoral Council helps plan for the future of the parish. Members of the council serve as liaisons to commissions and report to the council regarding commission activities. In the spring of each year nominations are requested from the parish at large for Pastoral Council and all commission selections are done at the May meeting.

This consists of financial management, budgeting, building and grounds and preparing financial reports. Nominate yourself (or someone else) to serve by filling out a nomination form in church each spring.
Stewardship Commission
The Stewardship Commission collaborates with all other commissions to ensure the ongoing life-long education, formation, conversion and facilitation of stewardship as a way of life within the lives of individual parishioners and the parish as a whole. This commission plans and executes the annual stewardship renewal program each year to encourage our parish members to share their time, talent and treasure for the good of the parish and community.
Christian Service Commission
The CSC serves the needs of the parish community and responds to the needs of the neighborhood and civic community. This includes hospital visitation, hospitality, funeral luncheons, Sharing Tree at Christmas (gifts for the needy) and other donation drives. They are also entrusted with the responsibility of social justice issues in our community and world and respond according to Gospel values.
Education Commission
Parish services relating to evangelization and education are the main focus of the Education Commission. Faith formation and sacramental preparation programs for our children and youth, spiritual development, adult formation and continuing education for all ages are some of the tasks of the Education Commission.
Worship Commission
This commission develops, promotes and coordinates liturgical celebrations, devotions, prayer services, prayer groups and other means by which the parish offers its members opportunities for spiritual growth. They also oversee the liturgical environment of the parish churches.
