All Saints Parish Altar Society
The Altar Society is a group that meets once a month on the third Sunday of the month at All Saints Parish (St. James Church) Langley Hall at 9:30 AM September through May. They do fundraisers throughout the year that consist of Christmas and Easter Bake Sales with a raffle to provide monies for Altar Bread, Altar Wine, Sanctuary Candles and any items that the pastor requires for liturgy. All are invited to attend meetings.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights are a group of men whose mission is one of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. The group visits the sick, holds blood drives, supports Habitat for Humanity and works on many volunteer projects.
Guadalupanas Society
This is a group of women whose role is to promote devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas. They do several activities of service to the parish through the year. Their main task is to coordinate the annual Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe, December 4-12.
Men’s Club
The Men’s Club is here to serve and provide support to the parish in various ways. Each year, the Men’s Club provides a Special dinner on Mother’s Day for all mothers. Men’s Club members also are involved in maintaining facilities.
Legion of Mary
Members meet every Monday at 9:30am at Langley Hall. Many services are provided by these members including distributing communion, ashes and palms to nursing homes and shut-ins. Other activities include making and distributing rosaries to local students, seniors and the missions, prayer-line ministry, serving funeral luncheons, and praying the rosary at local nursing homes.
Weekly Senior Group
All Senior citizens are welcome to participate in this weekly gathering on Tuesday mornings. Games and prayer are shared as well as a hot lunch for a donation to the parish.
Young at Heart Senior Program
Watch the bulletin for fun and exciting events for senior citizens including Casino Trips and parties.
Men’s Catholic Fellowship
This group meets regularly to share the Sunday Scriptures as well as share time together. Spouses are invited to attend several times during the year. Drop in when you can. See the bulletin for dates.
St. Vincent dePaul Society
The mission of the St. Vincent dePaul Society is to serve the needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Frederic Ozanam and its patron, St. Vincent dePaul. The Society embraces all works of charity and justice and collaborates with other agencies and people to assist those in need, making no distinction in those they serve because they see the face of Christ in each person. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm from September through May and all are welcome.
Hospitality Group
This committee will serve at special events, dinners and meetings where food and beverages are required and will work with the Stewardship Commission to invite and welcome new members to our parish.
